[edit] Anupallavi

[edit] Charanam
paluku palukulaku tEne- Show Detailsloluku mATalADu sOdaralu gala hari tyAgarAja kula vibhUSa mRdu su-bhASa (rAma) | O Lord Hari, having brothers who speak such that honey drips from each word! O Adornment of the family of this Tyagaraja! O Lord who speaks soft and sweet words! |
[edit] Commentary
- 1maruvampu - maruvamu – sweet marjoram – marukkozhundu (Tamil).
- 2paJjarapu ciluka – parrort in the cage - in some books this has been taken to mean Lord Rama. However, Anupallavi describes Sita, and Charana describes Rama's brothers. Therefore, 'paJjarapu ciluka' most likely refers to Sita and not Rama.
