- General – Charanas 5 and 6 are reversed in some books.
- 1bayalu – bhayamunu : bayalu - is appropriate.
- 2cayamunu – cayamula
- 4varamagu – varamulu : varamagu - is appropriate
- 5jUpu – this word may be translated as ‘one who shows’ or ‘show’. However, in the present context, 'show' seems to be appropriate.
- 6valacaga – valacaganu
- 7tallula – sutula. ‘talli’ means ‘mother’ and ‘suta’ means ‘daughter’. As these two words are quite distinct, this is an interpolation. The original Kriti would contain either the word ‘talli’ or ‘suta’. The other word has been deliberately brought into circulation.
- 8maravaka – maruvaka
- 9varada – vara nuta : vara nuta - does not seem to be appropriate.
