Show Details		1. I sing lullaby, O rain-cloud hued born in the Solar dynasty! O Lord wearing garments of golden hue! O Lord with splendour of a crore Suns! O Lotus Eyed! O Lord who bestowed boons on Akroora! O Lord with Lotus navel! O Lord praised by sages sanaka and others! O Lord who is easily accessible to all true devotees!

2. I sing lullaby, O Lord wielding bow and arrows! O Slayer of Khara! O Lord whose feet resembles Lotus of the hue of dawn! O Lord who destroyed the arrogance of demons! O Lord praised by Lord Siva – the enemy of Tripura! O the Supreme Lord! O Moon Faced (Or Full-moon Faced)! O Lord whose eyes shed the juice of grace! O Lord from whom desires have fled! O Refuge of sages!

3. I sing lullaby, O Consort of Bhu-Devi! Deign to accept my worship; O bestower of prosperity who manifets in the homes of those who believe in You totally! does it behove You much to look at me with side glance? O Wealth of my family! I cannot be separated from You; deign to govern me.

4. A hall rivalling the splendour of a crore Suns has been nicely decorated; deign to be established therein; O Peerless Lord worshipped by ascetics lot! I shall serve You by offering betel leaves unforgettingly every now and then.


5. I have set up a beautiful bed made of pure gold in the middle of it (hall); I have spread jasmine flowers nicely thereon; I am squeezing Your beautiful feet.



6. I sing lullaby, O Unrivalled Hero! As the necklaces of pearls (on Your chest) radiate, as the Parijata - tree situated in the middle of Meru – peerless mountain - flowers rain on You, as Brahma – abiding in the Lotus – and other multitudes of celestials search for You, O Kind hearted! having bedecked You with all true appellations, I am rocking the swing.

7. You are tired having been busy in the service of the true devotees; but O Lord beyond attachments! perchance You forget me (do not forget me); O Fortune of the beautiful Sita – daughter of King Janaka! You please protect this Thyagaraja by showing much compassion.
