1. May there be prosperity to the Consort of Sita – daughter of Earth! May there be prosperity to the Lotus Eyed! May there be prosperity to the Lord having wonderful conduct! May there be prosperity to the Primal Lord!


2. May there be victory and prosperity – to the Lord with a charming face; to the Lord with beautiful body; to the Lord saluted by the celestials; to the Lord who bore Mount Mandara on his back; to our Lord Madhava; and to the Lord who bestows auspicious fruits or results of one’s desires or actions!

3. May there be victory and prosperity – to Lord Rama who shone in the solar dynasty; to the Lord who carried out the promise of His father; to the Lord who is as handsome as a million cupids; and to the Lord who is seated on the golden throne!

4. May there be victory and prosperity – to the Lord reclining on the couch of Sesha – the serpent – eater of mild air; to the sacred generator of river Ganga; to the Lord who shines as if hundreds of Suns – father of Saturn – have risen together; to the Lord who is of the form of wish-tree to His devotees; and to Lord Hari!

5. May there be victory and prosperity – to the Lord praised by Lords of eight directions beginning with Indra; to the Lord who has Moon and Sun as his beautiful eyes; to Lord Ramachandra who protected Gajendra; and to the Lord who is of Universal form!

6. May there be victory and prosperity – to the Lord who is dear to Lord Siva – one who wears the digit of the moon on the head; to the Lord worshipped by eminent sages and kings; to the Lord well-praised by this Thyagaraja; and to the bestower of boons to the blessed devotees like Gajendra – King of Elephants - and others!
