[edit] Variations

  • 3koTTi – paTTi : koTTi - seems to be appropriate.
  • 4‘rOmaJcamanu’, ‘rAma bhaktuDanu’ ‘rAma nAmamanu’ - rOmaJcamanE’, ‘rAma bhaktuDanE’ ‘rAma nAmamanE

[edit] Commentary

  • 1tuNTa viNTi vAni modalaina – As per telugu dictionary, ‘tuNTa vilukAdu’ refers to Kama - cupid. Therefore, ‘tuNTa vinTivAni modalaina’ should be taken to mean ‘desire – originating from Kama’ Accordingly the Anupallavi would read ‘kAma, madAdula koTTi nEla kUla jEyu nija’.
  • 2madAdula - kAma, krOdha, lObha, mOha, mada, mAtsarya – desire, anger, greed, obsession, conceit, jealousy.
